Elevated Abode Reveal, Part 3

Today we are sharing our final installation of our Elevated Abode Project, featuring the Primary Ensuite. Often times, this room is saved for last when it comes to furnishing; however, we are of the opinion that this room/suite should take priority, as the owners are the ones living in the home. We love creating a beautiful and restful retreat for our clients to cherish. From the oversized artwork to the subtle vintage touches throughout, scroll through to see some of our favorite moments in this space!

This room has a very wide footprint, (including a before picture for reference below.) We immediately knew we needed to reorient the new furniture, starting with placing the bed in between the windows. The windows frame the bed so perfectly. We installed floor to ceiling draperies + woven wood shades to create height and elevate the room. The textured nightstand lamps are a favorite that we have used time and time again!

Before:

Because of the large scale of the room, we were able to include a sofa at the end of the bed instead of a typical bench. It turned into such a cozy area, especially for watching tv. We also incorporated a reading nook in the corner. Reading nooks are a must-have in primary bedrooms and guest rooms!

The bathroom consists of large-scale mirrors, mixed finishes, and a large, stand-alone tub. One way to add instant character to your bathroom is to install vanity sconces. We opted for sconces in a polished nickel finish for a classic, timeless look!

One tip for installing shower tiles is to take them all the way up to the ceiling for a dramatic effect! The ceilings in this bathroom are 10 feet tall and can definitely handle the honed, marble tiles from ceiling to floor. Click for the stunning chandelier over the tub! We love to finish the tub area with a small stool so that you have a place to set a small candle and towel. Here is a similar stool option in teak that works great in a water area.
