Highland Park Project Reveal, Part 1

Today, we're excited to unveil our latest furnishing endeavor, the Highland Park Project! We had the honor of furnishing this stunning three-story new build from top to bottom. This reveal showcases the main living spaces of the home—the entry area, living room, dining room, and powder bathroom. We began by selecting a cohesive color palette for each room of the home. Our clients preferred warm, earthy, organic tones and natural materials, which are reflected in the home. We admire the timeless arches throughout the home and aimed to complement them. The overall design aligns with our LDCO mission: elevated and intentional design, rooted in simplicity. Scroll through to see some of our favorite views of this home!
From the brass chandelier and wooden beams to the white oak-lined cabinetry and carefully selected accessories, this living room creates a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. For the soft furnishings, we opted for greens, terracottas, neutrals, and creams in the linen fabric. We are particularly fond of the oversized neutral prints that bring balance to the room.
The foundation of any living room is a comfortable rug! We choose 100% wool whenever we can, and always use a rug pad; the bigger the rug, the better. This green wool rug measures 12x15 and truly makes a statement!
This leads us to the dining room, which features beautiful archways and arched windows, natural linen drapes, white wainscoting, a cast stone fireplace, white oak flooring, and wooden furnishings. It provides an ideal setting for daily meals and entertaining guests. We jump at any opportunity to incorporate original artwork- it has so much more texture and character to it, and really lights up a room.
Lastly, every powder bathroom benefits from a touch of drama! A green floral wallpaper was chosen and installed to add an extra layer of intention and depth to the space. We adore the mini ceramic lamp and floral artwork!
