We are so happy to be diving into the Living Room from our All the Textures Project! What started off with an overall dark, beige and heavy vibe, ended with a beautiful, updated finished project. Scroll through to see this final results, from the hard finishes, all the way down to furniture + accessories.

We renovated this room with custom built-ins, new lighting + window treatments, and a fresh fireplace design. Our client specifically wanted a minimal fireplace with more of a "ledge" rather than a heavy mantel. We used a stacked dolomite stone for the fireplace surround, and solid oak for the ledge, (perfect for hanging Christmas stockings.) We painted the walls and trim the same crisp white color: Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore. As always, we needed to add in some warmth. We used wood accents, rattan textures, and woven shades to accomplish this.

The dark built-in paint color is called Nightfall by Benjamin Moore. I love to use picture lights over built-ins, it takes the design up a notch + creates another level of lighting. It's a win win!

We decided to incorporate an ottoman as opposed to a traditional coffee table here. Whenever this is the case, large trays are a must!

The sofas are custom- I love mixing different materials when using two sofas. It makes it a little less like a furniture store- like. One of the fabrics is a soft, velvet fabric; the other a linen-performance fabric in a slipcovered style.

I love the Carmel couch. Can you tell me what brand of couch that is and the fabric color?
